The popular domestic handset maker revealed that the Karbonn Titanium Hexa will be up for pre-order starting Tuesday, and will go on sale beginning May 20.

For those unaware, Karbonn launched the Titanium Hexa in March, alongside the Titanium Octane and Titanium Octane Plus.

The company as a promotional offer is also giving away a bundled free Plantronics Bluetooth Headset to each consumer who buys the Titanium Hexa from Amazon India or Amazon.in.

In addition, Karbonn also announced that the new Titanium devices including the Titanium Hexa, Titanium Octane and Titanium Octane Plus will come pre-installed with Amazon's shopping app.

The Titanium Hexa runs Android 4.4 KitKat, one of the highlights of the device, and is the first hexa-core smartphone in Karbonn's line-up.

The Karbonn Titanium Hexa features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixel) LTPS display, and is powered by a 1.5GHz hexa-core MediaTek MT6591 processor that is coupled with 2GB of RAM. The Titanium Hexa sports a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It features 16GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It is backed by a 2050mAh battery.

Connectivity options on the Titanium Hexa include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, 3G (HSPA+), and Bluetooth 4.0. The phone measures 154x76.8x6.9mm.

Commenting on the announcement, Shashin Devsare, Executive Director, Karbonn Mobiles said, "By making the Amazon App natively available on our Karbonn 'Smart' range we wish to transform the way consumers shop and bring the convenience of anytime, anywhere shopping right to their fingertips. We strongly believe that this collaboration will reinforce the value of secure mobile e-commerce and also drive increased usage of mobile Internet, thus benefiting the entire end to end ecosystem."
