Kaspersky IS 2011 not running post installation

Hi All ,

I installed kapsersky internet security 2011 on my Uncle's machine .

Post installation same does not start on its own ( in startup ) .

tried manually running same from program files .

Also tried running the avp tool ( same showed no issue ).

Have also KIS 2011 installed in my own machine ... did not face any issue ...

is this a virus or worm .... any idea ( uncle has two latops xp and vista . both facing same issue )

^.. If it was installed on an older XP installation then probably its a virus preventing it from loading on startup...

backup important files and install a fresh os. your problem will be solved.

format OS drive and reinstall

dude newer kis does not have integrated with older os, so please tell me which os u currently running...

Im running kis 2012 in w7, peace and perfect...

Then move to KIS 2012

if it was virus remember that the virus not only lives in local HDD c:, check other partition...

a complete scan help, otherwise format the whole HDD...
