Keyboard problem!!

Hi, can anyone help me ?

I've some problem with my laptop keyboard... When I hit 'as1' key together in notepad, it shows only 'as'... Similarly, when I hit as2 it shows 'as'... It happens for a few more keys where the number key doesn't work when hit together with 2 alphabet keys.

Any specific reason you are entering this combination?
Was this Combo working before?
Can you replicate the problem with a USB keyboard or does an external keyboard eliminates the problem?
 
What's the keyboard model and what OS are you using?

It may be due to the reason that the keyboard doesn't support keys rollover.
