Kodak Digital Camera. Not working.Please Help!

Hello guys, This is a Kodak digital camera, it fell down accidentally and ever since then it's stuck on this same position. When I try to switch on the camera,nothing happens. The light just comes on and goes off. Any advise from the people here wold be truly helpful.

I had a Kodak C series camera that had a fall. It began acting weird. The zoom used to open up on its own will. And clicking pictures was not possible.

I took it to the Kodak ASC and they told me that the Logic Board needed to be replaced. The estimate was ~ 4k.

I decided to use the Camera as a paperweight.

:(

It is likely that you have a similar issue. There is practically nothing you can do to fix it. Take it to an ASC and see how much damage has been done. But repairs of digicams these days are not justified. You usually bet similar or even better new digicams for the price of repairs.

Well, I am from Mumbai and for me, the Service was handled by the HCL Service Center located in Andheri.

Kodak is supported by hcl & in few places rashi peripherals.if its out of warranty ,its better to get repaired by local shops .
 
seems like a hardware problem this.the fall must have definately damaged the cam.it seems repair shop is the only good solution.best of luck
