Laptop does not recognize headphones

Hello Everyone,
Hope you're well and safe.

I have been having problems trying to use my headphones plugged into the laptop - the laptop does not seem to recognize any headphones I try to connect to it.

The only way I found to get around the problem was to reinstall the audio drive.
However, the problem happens again when the laptop is restarted or when the headphones are unplugged and plugged back into the laptop.

I would be very grateful if anyone could help me with this!

Did you open and forget the audio connection, check the flap is properly plugged in or not.

Realtek has been having issues with laptops.
Best option for you is to download driver from laptop manufacturer site along with any other audio sw they have.

Thank you for your replies!

I was indeed using Realtek Audio and the problem seems fixed now after I have reinstalled the drive, so lets see if the problem will come back. o_O
