'which graphics card' would be answered by 'which games'. if ur into heavy gaming , then a good graphics card is a must. remember graphics cards eat up a lot of power. so, a wise decision would be to solve the first line first. once u have decided that u WOULD be playing those games that require high graphics card use then don't look any further.
but if u are like me, who has most of his work on open office, Video LAN, and very little gaming (if at all) then get something that has a slightly low powered graphics card.
i do not however think that graphics card should be your primary concern. first determine what you would be doing with the machine in 2 year's time. then decide whether u'd want to spend what u have, or spend (like i did 26k on a compaq dual core with dedicated NVIDIA 7100 graphic card) a little less.
not willing to spend less? then go for a Dell with a core2duo and a good graphics card. that'll see you through for quite many years to come.
