If you want multimedia etc, you need a good graphics card. That budget isnt really ideal for it.

The next best thing is a lappy with onboard graphics around ur budget as the best bet.

Compaq - CQ45-137TX - NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS ~47k probably

Acer 4530 of course with 9100M @ ~30k

HP: DV5-1106AX - With HD3450 - ~42-43k

I dont see anything else in that budget.

Thanks for the fast reply ,repped u :ohyeah:

btb he is is mumbai ,where can he get the above lappies ,any store ,coz he just moved to Mumbai

You can get the above HP Laptop from McCann Infosys <Lamington Road>,

be ready to haggle a lot and you might get it at 1-2K lower than mentioned price.

The compaq one is a waste of money better get the HPDV5-1106AX or Acer 4530. I saw HPDV5-1106AX at croma, reliance world and vijay sales at VASHI.

Exactly what I was going to post :D Discrete are much better than onboards anyday. And in that budget, This seems to be the only lappy with a discrete card :)

Just checked. 44k+ here. I was mistaken. was assuming a constant margin on all his models :P
