Laptop in the range of 35K to 40K

Friends,

My trusty old HP Pavilion DV6000 is on its death bed. So now I need to get a new one for myself.

Details that might help you guys suggest:

Price range: 35K-40K

Processor: i3 or i5 - not finicky on that

HDD: Would prefer atleast 500GB

Screen size: 15.6""

Brands: Any will do as long as its reliable.

Usage: nothing intense - some gaming (NFS Shift, grid etc variety), movies, music and plain simple MS Office

OS: Win 7 HP

I have someone coming over from UAE this month, you think its worth getting a laptop from there? Saw a few on carrefour site and seems promising.

Pasting some links here for ya'll to see:

Samsung NP300V5ABK - This one has a Bluray drive.

DELL INSPIRON 15R-159 BLACK

LENOVO Z560-2243 - This one has the first gen processor

DELL NOTEBOOK 15-R

With Gitex on, there are plenty of offers available.

Looking forward to your replies, thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Hiren

Check out this as well

Thanks for this Adnan but I've already picked up Acer 5755G.

Hello friends,
Earlier I reported that I have picked up the Acer Aspire 5755G-2436G64MN but it so happens that the laptop in front of me is Acer Aspire 5750G
The specs are:
Proc: Intel Core i7-2670QM 2.2 GHz with turbo boost upto 3.1GHz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT540M
Screen: 15.6 HD LED
RAM: 4GB DDR3 Memory
HDD: 500GB.
OS: Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit
USB3 - yes

My brother and his friends bought quite a few laptops and due to some confusion I landed up with this instead of 5755G. Of course I will have to pay 300 AED more but I am not complaining at all. So net net I have got this along with tons of freebies for 2900 AED (that's around 36500 INR which I feel is super VFM).

Setting it up as I type with my fav applications etc. Does anyone here have any experience with this laptop?

Regards,
Hiren
