Hi I have a HP Victus fb-0xxx.
Ryzen 5 5600H + RX6500M variant.
It came with 8 gigs of RAM which is torture so I'm upgrading
The official site says its got a 16 GB cap on the maximum RAM you can put but from everything I looked up it works perfectly even with 32 GB and on some systems even 64 GB works. Anyways I'm upgrading to 16 GB for now and I have a few options to narrow down.
Given I have a rough 3k budget before selling the old sticks (that also tight)
I've narrowed down my options to either the
G skill ripjaws 1300 per 8 GB stick so 2600 wrapped up and its CL22, 3200 MHz standard
OR kingston fury same specs at 3k from a store on SP road
Both have the same specs and my current RAM is CL19 3200 MHz samsung RAM 4GB x 2 which from what I found so far is expensive asf cause no other brand is making CL19 RAM from what I could find and used 8 GB will go for 2.4k from what I can tell (I'm definitely not sure about this would be helpful if someone has any ideas about this as well)
Anyways I was confused which one I should pick cause I'm not as sure about G skill as a brand and its amazon on top of that and ordering PC parts from amazon I'm a little skittish about. Thoughts?
