Laptops laptop Screen is showing greenish mark

My HP Pavilion DV6 - 6155tx laptop screen is suddenly displaying dark greenish mark on right side of screen. what help me out, what could be the reason.

most probably your screen has been damaged. to make sure try connecting to your tv with hdmi.
