Laptops Laptop Suggestions Needed

Brands I prefer/desist - None actually , but honestly something in my consciousness tells me ill be laughed at if i carry around a zenith/croma laptop [no offense owners]

What I have seen till now

eBay India: Asus Laptop X83VB x2 Core 2 Duo Laptop @32990 (item 260433430323 end time 30-Jun-2009 09:00:00 IST)

32.5k shipped after applying a coupon

+ 4 GB RAM
+ Reviews say good build quality
+ nVIDIA 9300GS

- 14" screen
- 250 Gb HDD

My biggest problem is that this laptop aint listed on the Asus India site ? So will they provide warranty ?

Acer Aspire 5536

Costs 28.5k - linux version

+ 320GB HDD
+ Ati 780M based GFX chipset[3200]
+ 15.6" 720p screen

- 2Gb RAM
- AMD QL-64 processor , I saw a benchmark and its performance wasnt great , not even upto the T3200's level

Acer 5738

Costs 33.5k

T6400 - 4GB DDR3 - Blu-Ray reader[not confirmed] and according to tech tree's review , excellent battery life

eBay India: DELL INSPIRON 1545 CORE 2 DUO LAPTOP @ 34990 (item 260433482646 end time 30-Jun-2009 09:00:00 IST)

Costs 34.5k after coupon , the most expensive of the lot , but its dell

4Gb - 320GB - T6400 - Intel X4500 , pretty standard specs

So , what do you suggest ?
 
if u want the dell inspiron u wud be better off by sourcing it from dell website not ebay!!

u an also check out the acer 4736z and 4736 notebooks around 30k and 35k respectively

comes with the new dd3 rams!!

dont use ebay for buying a notebook

my personal opinion!!

just to save 500 dont do that :p

The Dell Inspiron 15 with similar specs on their site costs 36.7k excluding shipping
 
I am finding both the deal of laptops listed on Ebay for Asus and Dell is great deal. Top of the configuration with the lowest price ever. On dell site Price for dell insprion with the similiar configuration is over 38K + shipping against EBAY price 34k.
Asus Laptop seems to be batter deal since it has 5 usb port, Esata port and inbuild nVidia 512MB graphics gard. the best configured laptop at great price.
 
^^ yeah , thats only said and written , u never know wat u gonna receive from ebay people.

its not dell where u can even give ur credit card number with the cvc code over the phone to the dell rep to carry out the order and relax!!
 
There are no Ebay people , there are different sellers , I have ordered a couple of things from this seller before so i know he is reliable , and the thread was about which laptop to get not how to get it
