2. Viewing distance.

8 - 10 ft.

Tata Sky HD and PS3

4. Preference for plasma TV/LCD TV/LED-LCD TV.

7. Ambient lighting conditions of the room.
One tube light and no windows

Size - 32/40/42 (Wanna know according to my wall which size will be better)

Samsung will have better media player, will support NTFS and can play everything including mkv, flv etc. Sony will be better in picture quality department but cant support NTFS and mkv,flv etc, so buy according to your priority.
