My budget is strictly within or upto 10k only.

LED is the latest buzz in monitors but i have seen led laptops and led tv and not satisfied as the pictures werent clear (pixelette)

Still i want one which has an hdmi port.

In minds i have:

dell ST2220L led & benq E2200HD lcd

But st2220l production has been stopped, so what if it needs to be replaced within warranty period? Will i get equal level led in return or some low edition monitor? :S

Also e2200hd satisfies my hunger but its lcd. :(

Apart from these two i m open for other offers/suggestions. So help me out.

^^ Look Sir there is nothing like a LED monitor, it is an LED back-lit LCD monitor, you can get the Dell ST2220L if it is available, fine monitor, good feature set, the BenQ E2220HD has also got positive response in TE so you can go ahead with that as well, depending on availability.

Pricing --

Dell ST2220L ~ 8500/-

BenQ E2220HD ~ 8800/- [last checked]

Here is a lowdown on LCD technology, Liquid crystal display - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia / panel technology and nomenclature -- LCD Panel Technology Explained - S-IPS, H-IPS, S-PVA, MVA and TN.

Hope this helps.

I'm confused between

DELL P2211H and DELL ST2220M

DELL P2211H has Dynamic contrast--2000000:1

DELL ST2220M has Dynamic contrast--8000000:1

still which one is better among the two for gaming and home use.
