I want to upgrade laptop RAM from currently 2 GB (PC3 12800) to 4 GB or higher. I am not able to find any 2GB PC3 12800 modules available, however there are 4GB and 8GB modules available. If I don't want to remove the existing module, can I buy a 4 GB PC3 12800 module and use it without any limitations?
