I have LG 10x BD Writer WH10LS30 using Cyberlink Power2Go to burn Memorex 4x BD-R discs. Till date I have burnt around 16 BD-R disc successfully.
All of my previous discs were burnt using Windows 7. But now I had to revert back to Windows XP because of need to use a old software which does not work with Windows 7.
For past 2 discs I was given error code 0XEB020B88, which is described as hardware defect of burning device at following location of Cyberlink Power2Go.

Has anybody encountered this error? Has my BD writer gone bad?
Update:
I have now also installed Windows 7 as second OS. In Windows 7, I tried to burn a DVD+R and it was burned successfully. I then tried to burn one more BD-R and it also burned successfully. I have not tested BD-R again within Windows XP ( BD-R are expensive
). But I am suspecting it might be a problem with Windows XP. Because I used Cyberlink Power2Go on both of them and on all occasions I have used burning at 4x.
