Well...
I have just finished a bad week. I was without the net for over 7 days and both the connections at my home and my office had gone down. I use my local cablewallah servies at home and BSNL Dataone at office. The local guy network setup had gone out due to some electrical surge and then repeater near my house went kaput.
And regarding BSNL Data one well both my office telephone lines went kaput on last thursday. The MCD was diigging the road and that lead to breaking of the wire and then constant rains and the weekend of BSNL left me helpless.
The shock which i got is that BSNL staff was very cooperative and they were trying there best to figure out the fault as it was the undrground wire which had the rpoblems while on the other hand my local cable wallh guy was very ignorant about the situation. Though it took almost the same time for both of them to get it to work but i definately saw a decent enough effort from the BSNL guys.
It is due to Airtel that we see this welcome change. I just wish i had some other option near my house for broadband services.
