Linksys Wireless router with MTNL model

Can I user my Linksys Wireless router (WRT160N) with MTNL broadband modem. I am waiting the installation, just wanted t be sure if my router will work with MTNL modem.

No need for any suggestions now, MTNL never came to install the connection. They say it will take another month or so to. Finally got 1&1 Broadband 1MBPS UL connection for 5K+500 Installation charges for one year(paid upfront). If the same plan is for for on a monthly basis, they charge 700/mnth, quite unjustified I did say. But there was no other choice in my area.
