ths is a really cool forum guys....i have a problem with my mandrake linux v.9.. it doesn't have a gcc package along with it.... i tried installing form the net an rpm but it said glibc_2.3 not found... later i came to know that there are many prerequisites for gcc.... can someone let me know all the prerequisites.and where do i get all of em....remember they have to be rpms..tar.gz files need gcc to open....plz reply someone to prabhu.dc@gmail.com
 
Just check up on ur Mandrake CDs. In fact there must be some option in the GUI menu called add programs or something which will do all of it for you.

(GCC is not installed by default)
