Linux Linux mail server

Hi

I am planning to set a linux system for fetching mails.We have around 20-25 users who use mails.So which Linux oprating system is suitable for this task? and which linux mail server is best for this?I want the task only fetching and send the mails to the domain mailserver.Pls advise

If you are looking for an integrated solution, you can look at Zimbra (Zimbra offers Open Source email server software and shared calendar for Linux and the Mac.) or iRedMail (iRedMail - Free, Open Source Mail Server Solution for Linux/BSD)

Where is your domain mail server located, in-premise or hosted ?

Courier Mail server may look interesting.

If less than 100 users, AXIGEN Mail server is also good.

it is hosted.Is courier mails and axigen is linux based or windows based?

courier mail server: Linux only (debian distros to be specific).

AXIGEN: both MS Windows and Linux (free for 100 users).

You may find AXIGEN more easier.
