my primary HD is dying, looking for a ssd replacement ,
want to stay in lowest possible budget due to old motherboard, Asus M2N-e, support sata-2 (3.0 gb/s) only. Hence don't want to invest more.

Have found this but no review found online, can someone shed some light on this if has any experience on the brand.

More capacity ~200gb would be nice if in 3-4k bracket, so any other suggestion welcome. Open to used one as well.

based on the spec of my motherboard, below are the SSD officially supported by asus, but are either very costly or out of market.

Forget liteon, SSD prices are lowest in human history atm,
They will rise in 2017,

Spend on a decent SSD now ,or forget SSD before 2020

[DOUBLEPOST=1481098690][/DOUBLEPOST]OP,buy whatever HDD and SSD you want right Now,ASAP

SSD prices will rise by 25% due to nand shortage in 2017,which in turn will give rise of rising HDD prices.

right now is the best price for Storage Drives, next best price wont be before late 2018-2019

also the intel 180gb ssd is a nice one,i got the 256gb model last year for around 2.8k,prices have risen since then, but these are still a great buy

finally ordered PNY CS1311 from amzn.
Have a little doubt on Phison controller, reviews says its better in read/write & double lifespan than my second best option Kingston 400, which had marvel controller which were listed as compatible with my mobo.
