Hello

It would be great help for both buyers and sellers in the Member's Market section if the OP includes the location in the Title of the Thread. Then it would be very easy to filter out threads according to the desired location.

Could it be made mandatory?

I don't think it make much sense to do that because most people ship the items so their location becomes irrelevant.

What I would suggest as a work around would be to add the field to search criteria, but to do that everyone will have to mention the correct location and not some random words and location should be visible by default with an option to remove it.
 
There are number of people who prefers to either sell locally or buy locally (including myself) and I think it would not tax the resorce of the forum in any way, but would increase the functionality and give options to the users. Mentioning location in the title does not mean that the OP is not willing to ship or get things shipped....
