Long zoom compact digicam advise

I am in the market for a long zoom compact digicam .

Have shortlisted Sony H55.

Am not too fond of canon as I find the images too soft.

I would be mainly shooting indoors with flash.

Any experiences with above camera or any other suggestions.

as U have shortlisted H55, seems like ur budget is ~14-15k

I would rather suggest Canon SX130 IS...

there is no such thing that canon give soft images.. totally wrong assumption..

instead, 2 of my frnds brought H55 and didnt gave a good feedback for it...
 
I'm buying the Panasonic TZ10 in a week or so.. has full manual mode , takes AMAZING photos... The Canon would come a close second. Sony i wouldn't highly recommend tbh....
