Here are the tentative release dats that microsoft has released for longhorn, The next generation OS from micosoft(Did i say next gen, Oh well lets hope so :) )

  • Longhorn beta 1 - the end of the development: 16 March 2005
  • Longhorn beta 1 - the internal delivery: April 2005
  • Longhorn beta 2 - the end of the development: 1 July 2005
  • Longhorn beta 2 - the internal delivery: 3rd quarter of 2005
  • Longhorn RC0 - the internal delivery: last quarter 2005
  • Longhorn RC1 - the internal delivery: March 2006
  • Longhorn RTM - the final delivery: May 2006. - FINALE!


yaa its gonna take time :P
 
thats really cool ! but 2006 :-s is a long go :( ! Though I tested the beta versions, there seems to be bugs all over the OS. Proably the best part of Longhorn is "Avalon" and "Indigo".

I will soon be writing a small review, tht I know abt LongHorn, so you can check out at review section.
