PC Peripherals Looking for a cheap TV tuner card

As the topic topic says i m looking for a cheap TV tuner card that would give me decent quality on my 15" LCD . Price prefarably under 1k
I heard pinnacle has good ones, but would i get one for this price ? And afaik internal cards are cheaper ...
 
u wont even get a cheap pinnacle for that price...u may get the local ones touch...currently im using a tech-com local ..(which i had then purchased for ~900 {2 yr back}) ..cause ive given my Pinnacle for RMA..

& external tuners are expensive..
 
Btw, which TV Tuner cards are compatible with the new Digital Set-top boxes? Thinking of getting one to connect to the SKY Digital box and recording some shows :D
 
^u can use any tv tuner that supports video IN..

dude...u cannot TUNE the channels .. u can only watch it..the tuning will be done to the set top box...thats why ive not upgraded to those...:P my home got 3+1 tv sets..so itll be damn expensive
