Looking to Buy NIKON D3100 DSLR Camera

Guys,

I have finally decided to go for Nikon D3100 DSLR
Have a few ques.
Noob in terms of DSLR :(

How is D3100 different from D3000?
I am getting a local deal for D3100 body only for 21k, how much would the lens cost me separately ?
Which lens to opt for ?
Any best deal for buying D3100 body with lens ?

Please suggest, need to finalise and order by tomorrow, many family occasions next week. Need to brush up my photography skills in advance :D

1) D3100 is far better than the D3000. Mainly: The D3100 has got a better 14MP CMOS Sensor compared to the 10MP CCD on D3000, D3100 has got HD video recording while the D3000 has got no video recording at all. Plus the availability of live view & better high ISO performance. Check out this link for more.

2) A 18-55mm VR lens would be costing around 6-7K for a new one and used ones comes at around 4K (depends).

3) Lens choice would depend entirely on your requirements. A 18-55mm VR + 55-200mm VR would be good enough.

4) Have seen the D3100 Kit selling for some 25.5K on ebay, not sure whether its available now also.
 
One of my friends brought it for 26300rs from a local store some one month back. Chk out some local stores also, they might be able to give a better deal.
