Friends, time to party.

Most of us just can afford GeForce 8800GTX or GeForce 8800GTS.

So what, we can't enjoy Dx10 games.

Lets look at the GeForce 7 serise, there are low-end:7300, mid-end:7600 and high-end:7800/7900/7950 etc.

So, why not that type of catagory in GeForce 8 series too.

YES, its comming. The G84 and G86 (no official information has been released)

Though, it is almost like rumour right now, but it is conformed that there will be atleast 5 to 7 different variant of GeForce 8 card as there are 5 to 7 different unique driver set in the nVIDIA Driver for GeForce 8 series alone.

Last week, it emerged that Nvidia's ForceWare driver package contained references to the G80-200, G80-400, G80-600, G80-850 and G80-875 GPUs. At this stage, it's unclear which, if any, of these chip IDs are the G86 and G84.

Taiwanese manufacturers are expecting the samples from the new products sometimes next year, in January or February 2007.

HOPE: you like the information.

@ cooldude_007: Thanks pal.

@ MOD: thank you for the SOURCE link, but it is not that, I got it a Google News alert mail. So, I just can't give a link to a email. Still, thanks.

and also I HOPE that these cards don't demand that kind of POWER SUPPLY.

Expected price would be in the $199 to $249 range. Not that cheap

Also it is intendent to be release along with ATI's Dx10 card to ruin their launch party with this cheaper version of G8 cards.

Just what i was waiting for .. first i get a dual core , then a mid range dx10 card .. and from nvidia's consistency .. just as the 7600GT is on par with a 6800U .. i hope the new mid range'r will be on par with a 7900GTX ...
