Marvel Movies - Order in which to watch?

Hello Folks,

I wanted to know for someone who would like to get into watching the Marvel movies (new to the series) what order should he go about watching the movies?

I came across this link:

^^ Here a detailed list is written. Is this a good order to follow?

Also, should one watch the shows or skip them?

I know there are many MCU aficionados here so thought of asking. Please guide me.

I'm not an MCU aficionado but you can watch them by the release dates. Chronology isn't important because you will find there's no real continuity. Stories aren't that interlinked. Barring a few key details, most movies are good as a standalone package.

Why? Disney likes to milk the cows by whichever means possible (read time travel). Profits matter more than the continuity of the stories.

You might not have noticed but there's at least one marvel release every week. Disney is churning out movies and series like a factory. Not even the CEO of disney has enough time in his life left to watch them all.
 
You can skip She-hulk altogether, absolute garbage show.

I think there is def continuity until Avengers: Endgame so watch everything in the suggested order until Phase-3 with the exception of Incredible Hulk(2008).
Incredible Hulk(2008) is solo movie with no connection to the main MCU storyline. Comics would have it, but the later movies did not care.
 
Yes its a good order to follow.

IMO, Shang chi and legend of ten rings is probably the worst marvel movie I have seen. I want my 2 hrs back.

If you ask me any movie character thats not involved in the avenger movies can be skipped.

Some of ratings the movies get is hard to believe.

I'll start then with the Movies and follow the list from the link I posted in the original post. This is going to take a while but I'm ready to go through them.

As for the shows, I don't know just yet but I'll decide later because there's just way too many on that list to be watched and as @ibose suggested above most are underwhelming and can be given a miss. As it is, too much content to watch these days!
