I read the sticky thread from 2016 about how PFCs in power supplies can be incompatible with APC's regular range (which are Rs. 10k, 15k types). APC also has confirmed the same. However, there seems to be varying opinions on what is ideal. Spending 40-50k on UPS is not ideal. 
PFC is good for the PC components, but requires a sine-wave UPS that is hard to find, and even a stepped-sine wave UPS is an issue? What are your experiences with this issue in your builds? What other UPS manufactures have good products, maybe even cheaper sine wave UPSs?
I have to decide on a 1000W PSU for a PC, but don't want to end up with UPS issues. Kindly help.
