Media Server on Old Netbook

Hi folks,

I'm planning to set up a Media server on my old netbook, (Atom 1.5ghz, 2GB RAM) . Looking for suggestions for the same.

I have shortlisted Amahi, as it supports NAS and VPN as well. Looking for more options.

Thanks, my netbook is useless. It does not charge the battery. There is a fault with the board, which costs more than the netbook itself.
So thinking to reuse that.
