I had ordered for Razer DeathAdder and SteelSeries Qck mini from Mediahome.

First of all i don't get any email feedback from them, only system generated messages, for all query i have to call them.

Then i had trouble confirming the payment, it took 3 days to confirm a Bank Transfer!! Ok then they said payment is confirmed after calling them 3 times a day. Next i asked them to provide me the tracking no. for shipment, they take 2 days and several calls to provide me that.

NEXT the tracking id doesn't work, the website says it doesn't exist. I call them back and they say "Yes Yes we are looking into the matter, we will call you back" I have to hear this same dialogue everytime i call, but they never call me back. Then when i call them, they say we have sent you a mail check it, but the fact is that i never receive any of their mail other than the initial system generated mails. This has happened several times. Which mail are they talking about? E-mail or post mail??

Its has been 12 days since i placed the order and i still have not received the package, i will try two more days, if all things fail i have to sue them.

rofl... don't worry the indian justice system is guaranteed to resolve all your problems within 24hrs of registering your complaint. Won't have to wait around like with these terrible dealers :p

lol at the subject:)

I think you mean they are probably slow, lack in communication, etc....

if they have not shipped they can be slow but how did u deduce that Mediahome is Fraud? did u ask for s refund and were turned down? were u shipped a duplicate product?

OP:

I contacted MayankSahani who works with him and sent your bill copy to him. He said he is looking into it.

1. Just because he is a dealer doesn't mean that he has to sit around pressing F5 on his E-Mail and bank's website.

2. When did you make the bank transfer and what kind of transfer was it? NEFT can often take time. For instance any transfers done around the 1st/2nd April time frame would have taken time to get processed as the bank would have been busy with the Financial year end/begin obligations. My own bank had put up a warning that transactions done on these dates would be queued up and processed starting on 3rd. Even otherwise, there can be instances where transfers can be delayed. As far as my understanding goes, NEFT transactions have to be processed by 3 banks (source, RBI and destination). Yes, you are justified in expecting a confirmation of receipt of payment at the very least, but maybe the amount had not reflected in his account as quickly as you expected?

3. The dealer doesn't have any obligation to ship as soon as he confirms payment. Most dealers have a max time to ship mentioned in the T&C. It may range from 3 days to 2 weeks once they start processing the order after payment. You are expected to go through the T&C before placing an order.

4. The only problem I see is with the shipping itself. When was the shipping done and which courier is it. Do note that if he gave you the tracking number on this Saturday, Sunday and Monday being holidays, it would not even have been entered into their system. There are also couriers whose tracking systems don't work at all or don't work temporarily because of problems. For instance, TrackOn Courier should be renamed TrackOff. 90% of the time the tracking numbers don't work at all or when they work, the status is not up to date. Their shipping times are also pretty poor, A package of mine took 2 weeks to arrive and all that while, the tracking number was shown as invalid (even though it was correct). On another instance, I had a problem with Blue Dart as well for an item I ordered from India Plaza. The item was sent to some other location due to some mistake at the couriers side and the tracking was not showing up during this time. So make sure what the real issue is.

Overall I don't see where the fraud is? Surely there are issues that frustrated you, but I don't see any fraud as of now. If you don't get your package in a few more days and Anuj refuses to refund, then you can say that.

The same way Lynx-India has been termed as "fraud" several times, I remember a case when something took 7 days for him to ship/deliver and people were all excited and all the posts were against Lynx-india and that thread ran into pages (As usual). Anyways hypocrisy is expected. :|

@OP: 12 days is a lot, are you still not able to track your shipment? What courier service was used? You could try contacting them and ask them as to why you aren't able to track your shipment.

Lets not bring other dealers here...what happened to others doesn't justify the same being done to someone else:)

And as 'Lord Nemesis' mentioned; there could be several reasons for this delay....wjich the OP has clearly not confirmed and has no understanding of:(

Overall It too see this as an over excited and over emotionally made thread:) gotta have a little more patience:)

I think its been 12 days since he placed the order. Not the courier time alone. Remove 5/6 days for the order processing time (as mentioned by the OP) and 2/3 days for the weekend/holiday and that leaves us with 3/4 days including today.
