So, was searching for some cheap options and ended up on this. I'm wondering how everyone missed on this or it was posted here and i missed it :S neways......free registration and free calls for the promo period.

btw which one is the cheapest out of all the voip service providers for calling to UK mobile. Almost all of them charge nothing less than Rs.10 per min, which is absurd when my vodafone post paid connection is Rs 9.xx per min.
 
yes oovoo is for free calls to us and canada landline or mobile
i used it a year back
dont use it anymore!!

i m surprised many tech geeks didnt know about oovoo
 
Try Voipbuster,i have been using it from 1 year.One can call almost all countries most of them are landlines,but for the US ,u can call even the cellphones.The advantage is that u modify the CLIP and u can make any no to be displayed on their phones.

As of now i am using magicjack.Its a real sweet device, very cheap and can connect regular telephone and call US.It costed me $99.99 for 2 magicjacks and 1 year of calling.

cant use oovoo to make calls to US or Canada for free. Need to buy a plan and then add phone minutes.. minimum 3 way plan + 1000 phone minutes comes out to be $22.95
