IEEE has quite a few conferences on MI. Also look at the usual suspects... CVPR/ICCV/ICIP/ICPR etc. Medical Imaging a very big topic so you need to be much more specific on what you want to let us help. UFL does a lot of work in MI. There's an Indian Prof called Baba Vemuri who does some awesome (though very very mathematical) work.
 
its kinda weird reading jargon i cant really understand :D makes me feel stupid :D if not dumb :O
