Hi guys,

I recently got my hands on evga GTX580 SC and i7 980X processor. After this i am a little tight in budget. I have around 20K more to spend on motherboard, can stretch it to 25K.As for rest of the components, i already have them. But seriously confused over MoBo. Please suggest one in the mentioned price range and which wont undermine the performance of the Titan GPU and CPU. I am into hardcore gaming.

Thanks & Regards,

Gaming freak.

what do intend to do just play.......or do like to OC?

since budget is not a concern:
Gigabytel GA-X58A-UD7
Asus RAMPAGE III EXTREME

or if on budget :P

gigabyte X58 UD3r

Since you can stretch your budget to 25k :

1> MSI Big Bang XPower X58 (great mobo, have used it myself, awesome for 18k)
2> GA-X58A UD7 (The newer revision has crippled the VRM, so you sud avoid this)
3> Asus Rampage III Extreme (great mobo again but a bit pricey, about 22k)
4> GA-X58A UD9 (Costly but great mobo, note that its a XL-ATX mobo and would require a cabby that supports XL-ATX mobo like HAF X)

These would be my choices... That 980x deserves a good home :P

RIIIF simply because it is the RIIIE without the hardcore ln2 overclocking options.. not to say that it has none.. its quite capable itself under LN2 too... :) If you can stretch you budget to 22k then the RIIIE is a no brainer :) It is the best board in the 30 K bracket.

1)Rampage III Formula-18-19K

2) Rampage 3 Extreme- 22K

3) Gigabyte Ud7 rev 2 - 23K

4) Msi Big Bang - 18 k as hellgate mentioned.

cheers and kind regards !
