that 690g mobo has integrated graphics,you can cut down on that and get a faster clocked processor assuming you are not into overclocking.

^^lol i did NOT mean to cut down on the GPU,i meant to get a mobo without integrated graphics and to use the money saved to get a better processor.
a 4xxx C2D will be much better in gaming applications than the proc you intend to buy,but you will have to do with an older mobo model to keep it within budget.
if you can raise your budget somewhat you can get a p35 chipset mobo which will be compatible with newer procs that come out.

the setup what he has written in the first post is actually good, a entry level dual core is enough to handle any present generation game. One just need a good graphics card. and also tell me if there is amy other motherboard w/o intergrated graphics better than the Jetway board @ that price point

i agree with saiyan. any basic dual core shud b good enuf i m using a 2140 on a 650i board with a 7900GTX hyeah: (card gone for replacement tho, so no gaming )
