For those wondering - its not really a Triple SLI solution
Its just an easy way to simplify the switch between SLI graphics mode to single graphics mode on your motherboard. The usual method has been to use either jumpers to enable SLI mode (DFI) or an SLI card (Asus A8N SLI) or some of the more expensive boards use some type of IC switches which can be activated through the BIOS (A8N SLI Premium).
Now in the above board - if you want to use SLI, place it in the Green PCI Ex 16x slots. If you want to use just a single card, place it in the Yellow PCI Ex 16x slot.
OHHHHHHHHHH Yeah !!!!!!!!!! BABY !!!!!!!!!!! Now ther'll be a mobo with 4 pci-e ????? next with 5 pci-e ????? like when is the list gonna end !!!!!! PRODUCE GOOD GRAPHIC CARDS !!!!!!!!!! Have any1 of u'll checked the specs of x900 and x900pro and the x950 pro ?????? 64 pipelines !!!!!!!!!! WHOA !!!!!!!!!!! THATS RAW POWER !!!!!!!!!!!!! THEN I GUESS 2-3 screens would proove satisfying !!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, it is with 3 PCIe slots. but I am waiting for the day when components like sound cards and LAN cards switch to PCIe providing amazing sound quality and network speeds. I mean that I want to see PCIe replacing PCI slots in everyday life. That will be cool !
@Daedelus - Dude no offence, but are you crazy ? You don't have to use so many capital letters and such exited language, we all understand and are not blind or short-sighted...
Also, check your facts and post. Just because there is X850, doesnt mean the R520 or the R600 will be called X900, you are only confusing members who are trying to learn about new stuff.
Nope.... I am going to be awake till late in the night studying.... have an exam tomorrow.... can you believe it??? And I am online for most of the day....
