by any chance,
do you know if any of above works as a true wireless server for a usb printer
i.e. without using a lan cable ...

such guidance hasn't worked earlier for a different branded router ...
 
^ HP laserjet 1020 ; tried it with a number of routers with usb port ....
of course, there is no official support for such workarounds from HP
