modem UT300R2U port forwarding problem. plz help

dear friends

i got a new modem today from bsnl having model no UT300R2U.

i found it very uneasy to fwd port for utorent , on it.:huh:

plz help me,

i tried it on u torrent port forwarding portforward.com

bu there are no details for what to fill in , it's model no. is there.

but i confused me as my modem is showing dataone , and it is opening different screen options then shown on the website.

1. anyone having this modem for bsnl, plz help me.

Some of the new modems from BSNL (with new firmware) dont have port forwarding option. In such a case, see if you can set an DMZ option (i.e forward all ports) and run a good firewall on your comp.

My BSNL modem also does not have port forwarding (old one did)
 
dmz is not safe
in these modems, u have to go in the virtual server setup link on the router page...not port triggering...
i dont know about the newer versions...but it would help if u can attach a screenshot...
