Monitor became yeallow as well flicker sometimes.

HI all,
from some weeks my Monitor (compaq 5500,CRT) is facing this problem.It started long back then it became bit blue n then slight yeallowish.then aftrewarrds it automatically came into its normal state.now its became yellow n sometiems in between it flickers,i have tried all these steps to make it working:
1. I hv done degasussing.
2.I chekd the Cable properly.all well tight as well complete straight.
3.Even i fresh installed my window XP.:huh: ..
...
After trying all these steps.. wht probs it cud hv... Is my VGA card gone??:ashamed: or worst case monitor too..

please help me guys..

VGA Cable fault but its not plug in/plug out.. the one end wich goes into MONITOR from CPU its hard fixed into the monitor.. so how can i change the cable ??

U cant do it yourself. Get a technician to take a look and replace/fix it from the inside :)
 
most probably it is graphic card, if it is built in disable it put some new card for testing.. i got the same problem n graphic card was faulty
