Y'day, Mointor suddenly switched off, no power light gets on of monitor switch, tried by on/off main connection. Checked cable connection, no issue. CPU, Keyboard, Mouse,DVD all works ok. Mentioning computer details as below:
Processor = Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 (2.2 GHz) Box Proc.
Motherboard = Intel D945GCNL Original Mother Board
Chasis / SMPS = Micro ATX - Mini Tower Case, I ball, Pride model
System Memory= 1 GB DDR2 RAM-Transcand
Hard Drive= 250 GB SATA Hard Drive - Seagate
Optical Drive= 20x SATA DVD Writer - Sony
Graphics= Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 Output= 19" Wide Screen LCD - Viewsonic
Confused what was happened?
 
Check with another PC. If it works, then the IGP/Northbridge - since you have a Intel 945 board, is kaput/faulty. Else, the monitor is gone.
 
Same thing happens to my pc once in a few months. It goes by reinserting the ram in the ram slots and Graphics card. Probably because of loose connections .
