Finally got my Asus Xonar DX and G.Skill 4GB 1000Mhz 5-5-5-15 RAM from KMD :eek:hyeah: , also picked up 2 x 500GB HDDs and installed them in RAID 0 .

The xonar dx is awesome , gives much better sound than the onboard sound i was using :rofl: :cool2: .

Hey Robo...ur at it again!. Cobgrats man great purchases!..what do u do for a living? and can u give us the break up of the damage pls?

And the Xonar, is there a real difference compared to the onboard?...what speakers do you have?
 
Nicely done....These are some slick upgrades....Are you noticing any differance in performance with RAID ?
 
Thanks all :D , i have sony 5.1 home theater connected to pc ( see in my rig gallery - here http://www.techenclave.com/rig-gallery/viewgallery-733.html ) , the difference with sound card is like day and night , much better bass and clearity , sound effects are awesome in games :p ,
Damage for Xonar is around 5k from kmd and for the ram 5.1k and 2 hdds for 7k , total around 17k :D

With RAID 0 , i am getting 175MB/sec average read speed while single drive gave 94MB/sec in HD tach , game load much faster almost in half time :D

i hve 2 pcs- one with 8GB of these PQ rams @ 1100 mhz :eek:hyeah: from KMD ..yea these are powerchips
