Amazon is currently selling this card for $165. With shipping and taxes it comes to around 9800 which is the going rate for 6850, but of course the 5850 over clocks much better. An oced 5850 is only slightly slower than a oced 6870. Is there any chance of getting this card for < 10k with local warranty?

next best alternative is HD6870 whose price is 199$ now, and it's like the next MOST VFM card.
Especially when a mild OC beats the HD6950 2GB to dust...
