Hi,

I don't know weather it's possible or not in windows vista.

I have installed windows vista on (C:) my 80 gb hdd.

I have only left 18 gb of space.

I want to install fedora 11 on same hdd. But before i want to move my programs from my C: for D: ( 200 GB ).

Is there any way to move it in such way that they keep on working properly after i delete programs folder from C:.

Thanks :)

i don't think its possible , but u surely can transfer all ur settings and customisations if u wish to perform a fresh install of windows on D: , this can be done by the files and settings wizard inbuilt in windows.

It will save some time.

Try some 3rd part applications used to migrate HDDs.

Paragon and Acronis provide some good softwares for migrating hard disks.

just check if it supports different sized HDDs.
