hai people i have a n-gage qd with an ogg player installed bu the problem is that it supposts only 8000 hz and 16000 hz compressions but db power amp has only 110000hz and 22000hz ratios could any suggest me a converter which ha sthe compression ratios a mentioned above so that i can playy ogg pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee help me
 
which ratio do u want?i didn't quite get ur point.I use 16KHz/24Kb/s and i get on an average 1MB/song whan converted from a 5-6MB MP3.
 
u can use jet audio 6 series to do that ... i have converted some songs to ogg for a frnd's ngage qd and they are playing fine.
 
Also AFAIK instead of converting from mp3 > ogg there would be a huge loss. I don't know if the above softwares do the same thing but the usual way to do conversion from a lossy codec .mp3 would be :-

.mp3 > .wav & then

.wav > .ogg

Now both times while converting there would be some loss. If possible try to get the original Audio CD or the .wav files it's much easier as well as cleaner to do it.
