I have a two-page Word document with a heading, followed by a two-liner sentence and a 52 row table. The problem is, the first row of the table does not want to remain where its supposed to  The first row is forcing itself between the sentence. I've attached the file here to give the exact idea.

Can somebody please help me as to what is going on here? It is an academic paper and I don't have any free-play to tinker with the formatting.

SOS! :@

Did it the noobie way:

Created 2 new docs viz., Doc1 & Doc2.

I cut the table from your original document and pasted it in Doc1.
Then copied and pasted the text in Doc2.
Inserted a 1x1 table in Doc2.
Copied and pasted the table from Doc1 to Doc2 inside the 1x1 table using 'Paste Rows'
Got rid of the extra row at bottom using delete row.
Added borders.
Saved Doc2 as the fixed file.
And sent it back to you.

This is what happens when you are stressed - the simplest solutions elude you.

Best of Luck!
