MSN Messenger 8.0 BETA keeps crashing

When I log into MSN, and then close the main window, MSN crashes and I get a message saying it performed na illegal operation and needs to close. And then 2 options.... send error report , Dont send.

This is soooooooo damn irritating...

Sometimes it works but majority of times it crashes....

Someone please help!!!
 
yes nikkihilll it do craksssss...
one thing to avoid the crash dont close the window for sometime... also try 7.5 thts what im using now.
one more problem msn 8 has is it wont change ur music status then n there u change the song .. it takes lot time.
 
Nikhil, I had this EXACT same problem, when i had Windows Defender installed on my System.

Remove Windows Defender, and it wont crash no more :D.

If you dont use Defender, and its still crashing. God help you :ohyeah:
