Does this have a sim slot where you can insert any CDMA SIM ? I have seen slot in these kind of modems with no connectors.

NO its different and the device work for reliance network not on MTS as in the link

NO but it can be done on this device

EDIT: the 750 unlimited plan is official but it will work for 1x speed where kanishk will activate EVDO over this plan to be able to achieve 3mbps speed
NOTE: speed is area dependent
