Ok that helps one another important issue is that WMP had a lyrics plugin installed in which I use to paste lyrics text, do we have any such plugin for media jukebox which can download the lyrics from the web?

Don't know much about lyrics but AFAIK there is nothing to automatically go out & find. There is an editor plugin to make it easier to copy+paste into.

You can do it MJ easily if you know the pattern, just select a few files->right click->library tools->move/copy fields. Select source, destination and for action use flip-flop. otherwise you can even mass move tags from a field to another. Try with a few first, if it goes wrong, you can undo with ctrl+z.

The only problem I am now facing is to search & download the album art manually, it does not find a single album art on its own from the web, I will try media monkey too i read somewhere its very good with finding album art from amazon.com

All my media files (4878 mp3) are now updated & neatly tagged & organized, this itself has enhanced the pleasure of listening to music.

I finally settled for Jriver media center.

What you really need is tagscanner. Free software, you can apply artist/album info using directory structure/file name, you can rename files using tag info, and sort them into directories using tag info. Does not matter which media player you use after that. But you might need to make at least two runs using tagscanner, but it is exactly what you need to sort directory structure/metadata.

I need to edit /rename/transfer some information in mp3 files, what organizing software would you recommend which an do all I need?

I also need to "rate songs" so the rating should be visible in WMP so I can choose songs as per rating/artists/genre etc etc.

There are many files which have wrong file names but have correct title (song name) so I need to transfer song name to rename the file with song name.
