I performed a benchmark on my system and got 78389 points from the benchmarking tool. I performed the same benchmark on my bro's system and he got 73876 points from the benchmarking tool .His configurations were-
1.intel core 2 quad q6600 1066mhz
2.asus P5K-VM
3.transcend (2X1)=2gb ddr2 1066mhz
4.seagate barcuda 500gb (7200.11)
Since the graphic card was not included in the benchmark i had no clue how it happened !
But i was impressed with the performance of my system .
some of the applications installed on my computer are KAV,adobe photoshop, corel draw.
The processor is extremely quite and power effecient though i'm not having branded power supply.I have overclocked my pc upto 3.2ghz without any probs on stock cooling.
Here's the money i paid for this configuration-
cpu -3.5k
mobo-2.3k
ram-2.4k
hdd-3k
g.card-7.9k
monitor-7k.............

total -27,000(including keyboard, mouse,tv tuner and headphone)!!

i think it was the best configuration i could get under that budget ,i thought of buying AMD x2 7700+ but somehow i made my mind to buy e5200!
i'm very happy with my system's performance .

i would recommend this configuration for a low end gamer !

ratings(out of ten) :

processor-9
motherboard-8.5
graphic card -9
monitor-8.5
hdd-8
ram-8

total-8.5/10

that's all from my side !

cheers,
microsoft:cool2:

All you need is a graphic card..... And then you can recommend it to a low end gamer....except that, I appreciate the choice of components :)
