My good old Siemens Amilo Pro V2020 has been begging for a retirement for a long time & now iam finally giving its much needed retirement after a service of long 5 years..

Was hunting around for a perfect one that comes under my meager budget for a long time & stumbled upon this one.. The ASUS K42JC.. ad everything that was i was looking out for & importantly was under my budget..

Can you please share your experience with keyboard and touchpad? Also a few words about screen quality (contrast and all) will be greatly appreciated.

Yeah.. Saudi Riyals.. Screen quality is good with decent viewing angles..

The only two things i didn't like about this laptop are the glossy lid (fingerprint magnet) & the unreasonable number of markings per key (4 for most of the keys)..
