will try to get a review done..

sorta busy of late.. :(

nd sorry for not posting the specs earlier

here they are.. -->

its called the Meizu M6 MiniPlayer... as u might have noticed on the pics.. i got mine from singapore.. its avl in plenty there.. gets cheaper in china,,. availability in the states is sorta limited.. its sold as a rebadged 'Dane-Elec' player there... its avl on newegg..

Dimensions: 79mm*48.2mm*10mm(H*W*T)

Weight: 55g

Display: 2.4-Inch 260K-Color QVGA (320x240) TFT LCD Screen,
The best part of the player imo :) :) its just sweeettt

Flash Memory:
mine is 4 gigs.. it comes in 2/4/8 gig variants

Battery: Built-in 3.7V 700mAH Rechargeable Li-ion Battery, up to 20 Hours of Continuous Music Playback or 6 Hours of Continuous Video Playback per Charge (less than 2.5 Hours)
superb battery life :) :) one of the few products which ive seen that lasts as long as the manufacturers claim it does

Now this is a serious KILLER... am very sure that there is no other mp3 player in the world which comes wid a EQ as detailed as this... it has a 10 band equalizer which v high levels of customizability..

me got it from SLS in singapore.. paid 169Sing$ for it. which works out to abt 4400 bucks... uber sweet deal for an uber sweet player :)

it doesnt come wid a touchscreen... jus a normal display.. has a slick touchpad interface...

btw.. jus did some googling.. nd found this.. 4GB Meizu m6 Miniplayer MP4 player,2.4" lcd,20 hrs battery life.

awesomo if that guy can be trusted

true.. true..

me on the lookout for a decent pair of cans, though the bundled pair is pretty decent too :)

anyone wanna loan thier ep630's for a coupla days??? :p :p

hey really nice..player..worth every penny !

i guess it even plays mp4 videos ??..if yes hows the quality ??..and do u really get the 4 gb of storage..cause ive seen many i pod look a likes which promise 1 gb but in the end they are just 500-600 mb..

^^ hey where exactly can u get this in singapore..is it available in any local shop\mall ??...

@Faheem --- He said SLS which means SimLim Square.

@Stalker ---- You have guts for buying an unknown brand like that. I wouldnt have taken that risk :p

@nikhil...

was a calculated risk :p :p

did a load of googling bfore i bought it.. there are tons of favorable reviews for it on the net...

@faheem...

it has 3.8 gigs of space.. which is think is pretty good...

it doesn play mp4s.. plays xvid :D :D which is anyday better :) :)

plays at a res of 320*240.. nd has a GREAT screen... not suitable for movies nd long vids.. but absolutely perfect for a south park junkie like me :).. its jus awesome for playing lil 20-30 min cartoons nd anime..

have praised it a lot :) but it does have a few drawbcks.. like the buggy firmware.. corrupt files tend to make the player hang.. it has this annoying habit of updating its music library DB each time u conn it to a usb port even if tis only for charging it..

nd the most annoying prob is this slight stutter that gets introduced into tracks right at the end.. de last 2secs or so.. however this happens only in vbr mp3's.. so it aint that bad..

FLAC support is godsent :) loving it!

^ Good buy, but for me 4GB simply doesn't cut it!

My Zune is 20-odd GB filled with music alone and I hardly use it for videos which take another 6GB, no clue how you manage with 4!

^ i manage by swapping out music every once in a coupla weeks.. once i start listening to something, i dont let go for atleast 1-2 weeks.. get myself stuck into particular artists/albums... so approx 3 gigs for music if perfect by me.. de rest goes on a few episodes of Ghost in a shell/ south park etc...
